What is Soma
& Solace?
Soma & Solace was born from Jessica and Cydney’s shared vision to bring deeper healing and greater awareness of codependency to the UK. With Jessica’s 17 years of experience working with trauma, addiction, and family dynamics, alongside her profound ability to see into the core of people’s behaviors and Cydney’s compassionate, creative approach rooted
in addiction recovery, codependency work, and inner child healing, they saw a powerful
opportunity to create something unique together.

Having already worked side by side in London for the past five years on a codependency-focused therapeutic recovery program, Jessica and Cydney witnessed firsthand how
transformative it can be when people explore the patterns that shape their lives. Their combined expertise in both group therapy and private therapy, as well as Cydney’s
background in creative therapies and training in IFS, inspired them to design retreats and workshops that offer a truly holistic experience.

Soma & Solace is their way of expanding this work beyond the therapy room - into restorative spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, understand their patterns,
and start building more balanced, fulfilling relationships with self and others.
Bespoke Workplace Workshops
At Soma & Solace, we offer one-off, bespoke workshops for companies and organisations, designed to support healthier, more conscious workplace dynamics. These sessions typically run between 2 to 4 hours and are thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of your team.
A Holistic Experience
Each retreat is facilitated by two trained therapists with deep expertise in codependency, high control dynamics, and relational health, supported by a team offering holistic practices including yoga, sound baths, and mindful movement. Together, these experiences create a safe, therapeutic container to gently challenge the thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that sustain unhelpful patterns — and to begin cultivating new ways of relating. We prioritise self-care that nourishes physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing, so participants return home not only with insight, but with embodied practices to support lasting change.
Retreat Focus

1
Understanding dysfunctional dynamics, codependency, and high control patterns,
and how these can quietly govern our choices, communication, and boundaries.
2
Learning to protect the personal in all relationships, by cultivating self-awareness,
accountability, and a grounded sense of self-trust.
3
Developing practical communication tools, to navigate conflict, set healthy limits, and
foster more compassionate, balanced connections.
